Heartlines

Heartlines

Heartlines is the first poetry book to be published by HoneyBridge House, and combines my poetry with the beautiful handiwork of my partner Bridget Yhearm.

It is a gorgeous, individually designed and crafted A5 book – ‘poems of love and longing’ as it says on the front cover.  It is a departure from the poems I normally make public, being tender words of love.

A variety of attractive, decorative papers are interspersed with cream or white paper which contain the poems themselves; the only exception being a couple of poems hidden away in mini envelopes attached to the page.

This is a limited edition, high quality item and the introductory price of £14.95 including p&p reflects this.  Ideal as a gift.

Chasing The Sunset

12552971_10153685764485660_8533784416917578189_nPublished by Black Light Engine Room Press in 2016, Chasing The Sunset is one man’s journey through the seasons.  A kind of ‘a year in the life’; from Summer through sepia Autumn, the freezer of Winter and culminating with the redemption and renewal of Spring.  It addresses one of life’s universal truths: change is inevitable.  It gets us all.

How It Is – Snapshots From A Northern Town

20160119_185609

Beautifully produced in the Spring of 2015 by Heddon Quarry Small Press this hand-picked selection of poems takes a gentler look at the north-east coast than its predecessor.  With a foreword by p.a. morbid, who remarked, “anyone who can write with such passion about Middlesbrough, the heroes and weirdos that dwell within its tattered borders, well … you just can’t buy that kinda cool.  A truly wonderful troubadour of the everyday.”
